Pommereuil is a village 3 kilometres east of Le Cateau. The British Cemetery is
on the south side of the D959, Le Cateau to Landrecies.
In June 1918, 2nd Bte South Lancs became part of 89th Brigade in 30th Division.
30th Division played a major part in 'The Final Advance in Flanders'. In particular,
they fought at 5th Battle of Ypres (28th Sept - 2 Oct) and Courtrai (14th-19th Oct).
By now the Germans were retreating before the British advance and it was during
the advance that Warren was killed.

Harvey married Lucy (Cox) August 9th 1910 at St Pauls, Leamington. She was living
at Kenilworth.
In 1911 Harvey was living at Lapwood at Henley in Arden... working as a domestic
coachman
